Broken Crook Farm

Broken Crook Farm was founded in 2017 by two women with a passion for farming and sheep.  It is located between Parma and Notus, Idaho.  We currently have about 300 sheep and lambs.  We sell our lambs as butcher animals, registered breeding stock and replacement stock for other farms.

We raise an assortment of meat and fiber sheep but focus mainly on registered Katahdins.  Katahdins are a relatively new breed of sheep developed in Maine and named after Mt. Katahdin.  They are a hair sheep that is hardy, good mothers, mature well on grass and the meat has a delicious flavor profile.

We raise our whethers as butcher animals on grass pasture with locally grown alfalfa in the winter.  We do not grain our sheep.  We will have USDA inspected lamb available by the cut or whole animals delivered to the butcher of your choice.
